Order Processing Time

All orders are processed within 1-2 business days (excluding weekends and holidays).

Shipping Options

We offer two convenient shipping methods to meet your needs:

  • Standard Shipping (€12.95)
    • Carrier: DHL or FedEx
    • Delivery time: 10-15 business days after dispatch
    • Tracking included
  • Free Shipping (for orders over €50)
    • Carrier: EMS
    • Delivery time: 15-25 business days after dispatch
    • Tracking included

Note: Delivery times are estimates and may vary depending on your location and customs processing. We ship worldwide except to certain remote areas and parts of Asia.

International Shipping

For international customers outside the Netherlands:

  • Your order may be subject to import duties and taxes
  • These charges are the responsibility of the recipient
  • We cannot predict what these charges will be

Returns & Exchanges

We want you to be completely satisfied with your Mepal purchase. If you’re not happy with your item, you may return it within 15 days of receiving your order.

Return Conditions

  • Items must be unused and in their original packaging
  • Return shipping costs are the customer’s responsibility
  • Original shipping fees are non-refundable unless the return is due to our error

4-Step Return Process

Step 1: Submit Your Return Request

Email us at [email protected] with the following information:

  • Subject line: “Retouraanvraag – [Your Order Number]”
  • Your full name
  • Order number
  • Product name and item number for return
  • Reason for return
  • Your preference: refund or exchange
  • Confirmation that the product is unused and in original packaging

Step 2: Wait for Confirmation

Our team will respond within 2 business days with return approval and shipping instructions.

Step 3: Ship Your Return

Carefully package your item in its original packaging and ship to:

Tip: Use a trackable shipping method and keep your proof of shipping until the return is processed.

Step 4: Return Processing

Once we receive and inspect your return:

  • For refunds: You’ll receive confirmation within 5 business days
  • For exchanges: We’ll ship your new item and send tracking information

Refund Timelines & Methods

After your return is approved:

  • Credit Card/PayPal: 3-5 business days processing plus bank processing time
  • JCB: 5-7 business days processing time

Refunds will be issued to your original payment method.

Non-Returnable Items

For hygiene and safety reasons, we cannot accept returns of:

  • Used Afvalbakken (waste bins) and Badkamer & toilet (bathroom & toilet) accessories
  • Opened packages of Huishoudmiddelen (household products)
  • Used Bekers (cups) and Besteksets (cutlery sets)

Damaged or Defective Items

If you receive a damaged or defective product:

  • Contact us within 48 hours of delivery
  • Email [email protected]
  • We’ll send a free replacement or issue a full refund including shipping costs

International Returns

For customers outside the Netherlands:

  • Returns must be sent with tracking
  • Complete customs forms as “RETURNED GOODS”
  • Any customs fees for returns are the customer’s responsibility
